Palmdale Contract accepted 3/04/2018

Congratulations, the Palmdale Lockheed contract was accepted. Please report to work tomorrow. Also please read the Attendance guidelines to understand new policy.

2/23/2018: Brother and Sisters, Contract Negotiations took an unexpected turn today when we received the Company’s third economic proposal. The negotiating committee is collectively fighting the fight and will continue to bargain in good faith. Your Negotiation Committee.

 

2/22/2018, Last nite we passed our third economic proposal to the Company and are expecting a Company counter proposal around noon today.  The Unions third economic proposal is posted here at your iamlockheed.com website.

2/21/2018: Brothers and Sisters,

Your negotiating committee has been fighting to maintain current contract language regarding Seniority and Job Security.

We received the Company’s second economic proposal yesterday and it is posted on the iamlockheed.com website.

The ratification vote is currently scheduled for Sunday March 4th and the time is subject to change depending on coordination with Sunnyvale and Marietta.

 

 

2/14/2018:  Your Negotiation Committee met with the company as of this date Feb. 14, 2018. The Union and the Company made substantial progress in may areas of the CBA. Your Committee is preparing for additional Non-Economic and Economic Proposals currently open, Thank You.

2/12/2018: We are meeting with the company tomorrow and they are reviewing our latest counter proposals. Their are  several Non Economic items still open and we must finish those before we  can move forward into economic items. We are slowly making progress.

2/10/2018: We continued working Non-Economic counter proposals to submit to the company. Our hopes are high that these will be receptive to Lockheed on Sunday morning. In Solidarity, your Negotiation Committee.

 

2/06/2018: We’re continue to meet with the company and that the Original Proposals have changed. So we’re making progress Negotiating to maintain the Current Contract Language. We were at the plant on Tuesday Feb. 06, meeting with fellow Union Members to let everyone know, “Your Union Negotiation Committee Continues to Fight for your Seniority Rights!. All your rights”.

The Union Committee is diligently reviewing and will Counter these proposals to maintain our current rights. Your Negotiation Committee is asking for “Volunteers for the following Strike committees”. STRIKE, PICKETING, KITCHEN, FINANCE. Please sign up at the Local Union Hall to Volunteer.

 1/19/18: The Company made their first proposals on New Technology, Acquisition of New Business, Hours of Work, Truck Driver hours, Incentive Program, Pay rates, Right to Manage, Rewards and Recognition Memorandum, Union Recognition and Security, and 5 year period of agreement.

The Union Committee is diligently reviewing and will Counter these proposals to maintain our current rights.

1/12/18: Here is the Proposals from Lockheed discussed proposed changes in Union Company Relations affecting language of: Union Stewards, Attendance, Leave of Absences, Vacation and Personal Business, Safety and proposed Holiday Schedule.
